Meet the members and alumni of FCR: young people that share a love of theatre.

 

Emily Thibodeau - Founding Member, Literary director

Emily is 28 years old and hails from Clinton, Connecticut. She attended the University of Vermont for undergrad and grad school in the English department. Credits with FCR include directing Hamlet (2021) and Shrew (2023), producing Eurydice (2022), and starring in As You Like It (2019).

Carolyne Sandoval - administrative director

Carolyne is 26 and is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a major in theatre and a minor in history. She spent her childhood in Washington, DC, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Seattle, Washington. Credits with FCR include producing Hamlet (2021) and Shrew (2023), directing Macbeth (2021), and starring in A Midsummer Nights’ Dream (2019).

 

Caitlin durkin - communications director

Caitlin is 27 years old, and is from...nowhere in particular! Growing up as a military brat, she moved every couple years. Some of her favorite places to live were Germany, Mississippi, and Massachusetts, where her close family is currently living. Caitlin loves the ability theater has to develop a person’s sense of themselves and compassion for others; she is dedicated to creating inclusive creative spaces for artists and audience members. She is particularly drawn to works that explore relationships, families and community. Caitlin’s credits with FCR include directing Eurydice (2022) and starring in As You Like It (2019).

Katelyn paddock - Alumnus

Katelyn is 25 years old and grew up in Simsbury, Connecticut. Katelyn formerly served as the Development Director for FCR and currently works as an Operations Manager at the Huntington Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. Credits with FCR include stage managing Hamlet (2021), Eurydice (2022), and Shrew (2022).

Julia Jean Sioss, Founding Member, Alumnus

Julia Jean is 23 years old and a real life Jane Austen character who was born and raised in Vermont. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in theatre. Julia’s credits with FCR include directing As You Like It (2019) and starring in A Midsummer Nights’ Dream (2019).
